22oz bomber at Sushi Roku restaurant in Pasadena, CA. Label says it's brewed by Golden State Brewing.
This beer is a golden yellow, slightly on the orange side. A brief white head can be roused by it fades quickly. Fairly clear. Zero aroma. Rice adjunct flavor, small but striking chocolate flavor, no hops, very sweet. Not quite crisp enough, needs to stay cold. Finishes on the oily side. Light to medium bodied.
overall: sweet lager with an interesting chocolate note. Between the lack of crispness and the sweet finish, IMHO this doesn't go well with sushi.

overall: sweet lager with an interesting chocolate note. Between the lack of crispness and the sweet finish, IMHO this doesn't go well with sushi.
