This beer pours a slightly hazy redish brown with a very small tan head. The head fades very quickly, leaving absolutely no laces.
This beer has a malty aroma. I can detect a slightly spicy aroma as well. I detect no hops at all. The aroma is very plain, and not what I would expect from the style.
This beer tastes slightly spicy. It is malty sweet, sort of caramle like. It has a very slight floral hop presence. Not much to the flavor.
This beer is smooth, and well carbonated. It leaves a spicy aftertaste.
This beer would probably be a good session beer. Although the server said it was high in alcohol, I doubt it. Also, the flavor was not very strong. I think this beer was rather boring. It didnt really taste like a winter warmer, but that is wat the server said it was, so I guess that is the style the brewer was going for.
