Very strong buttery taste that I did not like at all. Very little to no lacing at all. Not a very good wheat ale.

First had in Biloxi on draft into tumbler. A bit less head and more malt than expected for the style, but Fleur de Wheat is still clean and refreshing, and is probably my favorite new 12-oz. release by Lazy Mag in a couple of years.

Pours clear, dark gold in color with 1/4 inch head...Taste is chamomile, lemon, and wheat. Light bodied, high carbonation, and sweet. Makes for an average wheat ale. Decent, but there are several more enjoyable options in the style.

On tap into a shaker, pours a peach copper with a one finger foamy head that subsides quickly, leaving minimal lacing. Nose is light flowery sweetness, a little honey, some nuttiness. I don't get the wheat. Taste is mainly lightly sweet flowery nectar. Feel is syrupy...medium to light body, low carb.

Lazy Magnolia Fleur De Wheat has a thick, bone-colored head, a clear, amber appearance, bubble streams, and low level lacing left behind. The aroma is of pronounced graham cracker, syrup, bread crust, sweetness, some honey, some pecan meat, and other unique aromas, that I can not place. Taste is of all those elements, with coconut and pecan shell. Mouthfeel is medium and syrupy, and Fleur De Wheat finishes medium dry and highly drinkable!

L: beautiful deep golden color, with a thin white head
S: not much nose, maybe a little flowery
T: herbal, spicy
F: thirst quenching, has an iced tea quality to it
O: I really like this beer, but I don't see it as a wheat ale

Poured into a taster cup at ZooBrew, Jackson, MS
A: Opaque golden with a frothy off-white one finger head that lingered. Nice lacing.
S: Chamomile and lemon with a wheat-y, grainy backdrop.
T: Light, refreshing, sessionable. The Chamomile and lemon blend well with the grainy aspects. Coriander in the mix, too.
M: Low to medium with medium carbonation.
O: A tasty summer beer. Perfect for post yard work.
