This is my least favorite of the Lazy Magnolia beers, but that is understandable since this is basically a light wheat beer. Taste isn't bad, this beer is just underpowered at 3.3% ABV. Very little lacing. Thin mouthfeel. Nothing offensive about the beer, just a bit weak with little aroma.

This beer poured a golden color with a head that didn't last long. The smell was faint but slightly hoppy. The tast was mild, but well balanced. The mouthfeel was pretty thin. This is a somewhat drinkable beer. It outdoes the competition it is marketed against, but is still not incredibly flavorful.

The color is golden with just a slight tint of orange. Head size is average. The aroma is definently that of a wheat beer with just a touch of malt. Didn't notice anything rye-like. The flavor is that of a fresh and tasty wheat beer. Plenty of flavor for the style with an excellent crispness. If I'm going to drink a "light" beer, then this is what I want.

To me, it kind of says something about a brewery when they’re thinking up what to brew for their "light" beer and the answer is "Let’s make something that’s 1/3 rye, 1/3 wheat, and 1/3 2-row barley. This is the least flavorful of their beer, but still has a nice malt profile with a bit of spiciness from the rye. The hops provide a tempting little tingle to the mix to make for a nice little beer.
