It pours a dark brown color with a foamy khaki head that stays with it a nice lacing to the glass. The smell is a lite chocolate but not really any smell. The taste is some chocolate and a hint of carmel that gives a sweetness to it. The feel is light not watery but smooth. Overall a enjoyable drink.

Poured into a Lagunitas large mouth glass.
Look: Pitch dark under a very creamy, thick dark khaki head — excellent retention and sheets of foamy lacing.
Aroma: Bitter dark chocolate, light toffee, dark fruitiness such as figs or raisins.
Taste: Bitter chocolate gives way to lots of charred grains and dark coffee roast. There’s a tangy raisin note that I’m unconvinced about, but it balances the rather intense taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, slightly chalky.
Overall: Kinda tastes like an imperial stout with 6% ABV if that makes any sense at all.

Pours clear, dark brown in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is cocoa, cola, and a bit of char. Light bodied for the style, sweet and roasty, medium-high carbonation. Makes for a solid and tasty, true to style English porter. Not one to rush out for, but not one to pass up either.

A dark beer (porter) with a taste and smell of coffee. Has a very smooth character with a slightly bitter taste and low carbonation. It's 6% by volume.

12oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of chocolate, toffee and toasted caramel. Sweet chocolate and toffee taste. Mild bitterness. Crisp, sharp and smooth.

Lazy Magnolia Gulf Porter
Appearance: dark brown, medium head, and some lacing.
Smell: hops and cocoa.
Taste: rich cocoa malts, plentiful hops, and a subtle toffee.
Mouthfeel: liquidy but also slightly chewy.
Overall:
This is a nice brew. It is more complex than it initially appears. The bottle names a few other ingredients that I am not able to detect.
