A pale ale with a touch of amber malt. This ale is all about the hops. If you consider yourself a hop-head then this is the beer for you. With three different hop varieties we think you’ll enjoy the flavor that fills the glass first and your nose second.

Had this on tap and waitress made me sample it because others found it too bitter. The first glass I had was served too cold in an ice-cold glass and the flavors just werent evident. The second was served in a room temperature glass and tasted significantly better. Hops flavor and aroma were both present. Thin mouthfeel which seems to be a common theme with Lazy Mag beers. Very good thirst quencher for the hot Mississippi summers. Good stuff.

This beer poured a clear amber color with a thin head. The smell was slightly hoppy. The taste was sweet and hoppy – perhaps a little more balanced with malt than other pale ales I have tried. It does have a bit of a lingering bitter aftertaste. The mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side. I’d consider this beer quite drinkable and would recommend it to a friend.
