It poured a dark color with a tan head that fades away. The smell is of burnt coffee with chocolate in there also. The taste is a deep malty in the front with the coffee and the backside. A bit heavy to drink and the 9.6(ABV) is present but not overpowering. Overall a good Imperial Stout.

Poured into a crevoise glass.
Look: Dark chocolate, lighter on the edges, good khaki foam head with a film retention, Random spots and dashes of lacing.
Aroma: Black burnt toast, dark roasted French roast coffee, light chocolate notes.
Taste: Roasted malts, lots of charred grains, bitter coffee. Bright sharp woody, hoppy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium to light ??? very thin for 9.6% ABV
Overall: One of the thinnest, lightest heavy beers I've ever had. Tastes like a 5.5% porter.
