Slightly hazy deep gold color with good cap and lacing.
Big clean scent of pine and grapefruit that is both refreshing and bracing.
Taste on entry is largely hoppy with a comparatively low level of bitterness. If's as if they strained the hop bitterness out while leaving the hop flavors in. Those flavors are primarily piney grapefruit (which sound almost contradictory but you know what I mean) woven together with seamless complexity. There is a good amount of malt flavor in there as well but that really shows up mid palate from which point it all builds to a crescendo.
Full Texture with balancing carbonation.
This is a big beer that hits with a sense of weight in all categories.
