Clear, golden color. Medium- sized, white head. Malt, hay, and some corn in the aroma. Malty, moderately sweet with some balancing bitterness. Simple but drinkable.

Poured from the tap in a traditional pint glass. Nice golden color with very little head. Carbonation was average. Very light and easy to drink. Great balance of sweet and crisp. The mosaic hops are a nice touch and lend to the crispness. I enjoy it so much that I bought a 6 pack of cans on the way out. Great beer from a great brewery.

Lazy Magnolia, tucked behind a school bus barn that's then tucked behind the Hancock school district and the airport (both in the same general place), is a little gem in the woods about 10 miles north of the actual ocean. It's the closest I've ever seen a brewery be to a school. It's a cute place, but unless you're there to hack it with the locals, you may be a little bored with their selection.

12 oz bottle from brewery floor, dated January 16th, 2021, into Parish Teku.

Golden honey color with a quickly diminishing head. Within seconds there is no head left.

Aroma of toasted grain and grassy hops, and a little bit of damp hay.

Flavor is corn syrup, honey, toasted grain, and slight grass. Slight dough and slight skunk. Has sort of a honey-pretzel finish. I almost want to say cloying, but it's not exactly that. It just has this sort of light beer sweetness to it. Busch-ish.

Feel is syrupy and slightly crisp. No heat. Syrupy finish.

Overall, a beginner's beer. This one would impress you if you've only had a handful of crafts. I wasn't expecting much, I was right, and I likely wouldn't revisit it. Lazy Mag should experiment more, but if they did that, they'd probably go belly up because Kiln is only interested in cracklins and Jack.

Edit : okay, I finished it. That has to give it some points. Going uppppppp

My good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego gave me a bottle of this beer. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle white wine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle grain base and crisp hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

From a beer of the month bottle. Poured a vibrant and crisp golden amber color with a friendly amount of effervescence and a slight white foam head that fades down to a wispy layer. Scent is unassuming (in a good way), with slight notes of stone fruit and a bit of grassy hop. Taste and feel are a good bit of carbonation (so on the lighter side) with a bit of honey and malty sweetness being the most evident. Aftertaste has a lingering hoppy zest, which helps to prevent the sweeter malt sensations from overwhelming. A good, clean, and crisp golden ale.

Purchased at overpriced restaurant in Biloxi, MS. Had a can poured into glass, no head to speak of. Nice golden color and smooth tasted, not filling and very tasteful as a good golden ale should be.

Beautiful golden hue. Thin, wispy head with decent lacing.
Has a distinct honey scent and taste, but I don’t see honey advertised anywhere.
This is a delightful summer ale. Nice crispness balances the honey sweetness. Velvety smooth. Extremely enjoyable little beer. The Good Bug is a good beer.

It's a pretty decent golden ale. Pours clear and gold colored. Smell is a little toast/bread. Tastes like a light ale. Light, floral hops. Good carbonation and feel. On a warm day, a nice easy drinking beer.

12 fl oz bottle nabbed at a beer store in Hattiesburg, MS.

On the dry side. 2-row is evident along with baked bread flavours, hints of toasted malt, and maybe even grains of paradise. Hop profile is floral and grassy. A scintilla of graham cracker is present.

Balanced albeit simplistic for a golden ale. Lacks the delicate yeast profile I'd expect in a great expression of the style, and it ought to be softer and more approachable texturally speaking.

A shrug of a golden ale, but it's worth trying once at
