From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This roasty brew pours a deep brownish black
with cola highlights and a nice head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin subtle layer, and displays nice light lacing. Nose of heavy coffee, dark chocolate,
char notes, and subtle cream. Flavors lightly exceed the nose with cream notes beaten
into submission by heavy coffee and moderate dark chocolate notes mingling with heavy
roasted malts. Decent mouth feel; medium full body, low carbonation, and a lightly sweet
roasted malt and coffee finish.
Overall a decent offering from a solid Cincinnati brewery.
Cheers
