Thanks to gerdy555 for the trade. Pours a dark reddish-amber with a very thin and shortlived beige head. Very thin and quick lacing. The aroma is kind of malty with a hint of fruit. Medium-bodied with an ongoing mild malt flavor, backed up by some fruit (sour apple mostly) and caramel. The lingering finish is fruity and lightly hoppy. Overall this is an average Bock.

This is perhaps the mildest bock I've run across, so much so that it reminded me more of a mild brown ale in the flavor profile. Poured an attractive nut brown. Quite malty, with a distinct milk chocolate flavor to the malt. Hints of some caramel as well. Very chewy texture. I don't know that this is a strict interpretation of the bock style, but it was a very pleasant beer - the only one of this line that I can say I particularly enjoyed.

Pours a caramel-orange color into a pint glass. Roughly poured, but a minimal, short-lived head nonetheless. Low bubble action inside the brew.
Nice roasted malt aroma with hint of raisin. Diminishes after a few seconds, but still detectable.
Big caramel and malt taste, develops into a more sweet, raisiny flavor, with some bordering alcohol notes. Very simple, no depth at all, and just a bare trace of the label-mentioned Hallertau hops on the finish. But the flavor it does provide it does so solidly.
Very nice and full bodied mouthfeel, slickish and smooth. Leaves a solid coating on the mouth and made for a wonderful after dinner pick.
This is a little big for session drinking at 6.5%, but it is a nice one to relax with if you want a substantial feeling beer without having to pay it too much attention. Sit back, have a few, enjoy.

Copper brown color with slight haze. Poured with a medium head that disappeared some what quickly. Average carbonation for a bock. Smell is a sweet malt with some raisin and apple, maybe a hint of vanilla. taste is a semi thick malt with some apple taste and alcohol. Slight hoppiness, not much though - an average bock, with average drinkability. Not bad, but not great either.

pours out a clear and very deep, dark amber color. a nice off white head forms that leaves a bit of lace. very nice aroma of caramel malts, and a nice touch of floral hopping. tastes very nice....lots of sweet maltiness, a bit one dimensional in profile, but choco and caramel sweetness definitely dominates. a nice mouthfeel but a strange crispness too, making for a disappointing mouthfeel. it's pretty damn thin too. another pretender but somewhat enjoyable at the same time. another "in limbo" beer.

Copperish amber color with an ivory-tan head. Strong malt aroma and taste. Caramel and light Chocolate malt flavors dominate but this beer is not overly sweet. No hop characteristics detected. Medium-full bodied, creamy, and smooth.
