Presentation: On tap.
Appearance: Hazy amberish brown.
Smell: Very malty with ripe fruit and a very noticeable alcohol aroma.
Taste: Chewy malt through and through with creamy caramel, good dose of ripe fruit. Hop bitterness is there to balance this big brew, light notes of wood in the background also.
Notes: Sit and savor, a lovely barley wine. This brew will be ready later this year and during that time it will be dry-hopped for and added complexity.
