Poured dark brown, much darker than I thought it would be. Smelled of malts, caramel, slight hops, some roasted notes and perhaps something citrusy. The beer was very light on the tongue for how dark it was in appearance, smooth and very easy to drink. It tasted heavily of malts and sweet toffee with great roasted flavors and a slight hop bitterness. Went great with my burger, very enjoyable but not overly flavorful or complex.

Served on-tap in a standard pint glass.
Poured a very dark ruby red color. No head on this example.
Nose is sweet & malty. I didn't notice anything else that really stood out.
Taste is the same, sweet, malty...smooth with no hop presence to speak of.
Mouthfeel is smooth...not much carbonation.
Easy to drink, decent but not outstanding beer. Reasonable beer
to have with a meal since you are there, but not something I would consider for "take-home".
