3.75's across the board- I fee like this one is really good but not quite in the "great" category. Just lacking something to make it stand out from stellar examples.
L: light brown with orange hues when held up to light. decent clarity, nice sticky head, appropriate for style.
S: biscuit/roasted malts, no hops, no alcohol, once dimensional but decent
T: light sweetness up front, and then roasted and cocoa/chocolate notes, nice but not complex.
F: light body, clean and palatable
O: a nice clean dark lager which could be paired with lots of different dishes (steak in particular). Much better than your average American example of dunkel but not up there with the great German styles.

This is a solid beer; the best I had at the facility.
Dark brown, glossy, nice off-tan head. Perhaps a bit light, but great nonetheless.
Aroma is nutty and sweet. Dark roast gives it a hint of coffee and dark chocolate, but it's the nuttiness that comes forward.
As such, the taste is nutty and earthy. Almost chewy. Sweet dark bread and hints of clove spice and flowers. I would prefer more carbonation, but that's just me and I did not take off points for it. A tad slick and filmy on the end.
