Trumer opened a taproom! I wasn’t sure what to expect as my memories of their place came from going on a tour of their production facilities over a decade and a half ago. I’m happy to report that the taproom is far more warm and cozy than I had expected, especially given the industrial location. Plenty of delicious lagers on tap. Worth a visit for fresh foamy pours!

We stopped here to check out this new taproom, the beers, and to have lunch. Besides brewing their highly-touted Pilsner exclusively, there is now a small brewing system so that they can offer a variety of beers. The brewery is located in an older industrial neighborhood. Parking is at the curb. The interior of the pub isn't large (maybe a capacity of 50), plus there is some outdoor seating. Beer and food are ordered at the bar, where there is also some seating. Our beers were poured quickly, and the food that we ordered arrived in a timely manner. I liked the vibe here, although the noise detracted from our enjoyment.
We ordered a sampler flight of 5 beers, and then added two more later There were 11 beers on tap. Each beer was brewed very well to style, with the Weizenbock being the standout. We rated the 7 beers in a range of 3.75 to a 4.5 (the Weizenbock).
The food menu is limited but the selections fit very well for a light meal with beers. (The beer and food menus are on their website.) This place is a worthy visit.
