Picked up a six-pack from the brewery for something in the $13.50 range. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - dark brown, nearly black with a solid finger of tan foam resting on top. Some lacing and good retention.
Smell - A little coffee, a little pumpkin. Dark chocolate and a subtle earthiness. Reminiscent of Southern Tier's Warlock, but only cranked up to 7 on the intensity scale (as opposed to a 10).
Taste - Exactly like the nose, but superbly blended. Some earthiness, a little bitterness, dark chocolate and a note of coffee. Pumpkin and all spice making appearances as well. Really damn good.
Mouthfeel - Smooth with a medium body, creamy, drying finish and an easy drinking texture. carbonation is fairly modest.
Overall - A sensational pumpkin porter, that is certainly worth trying if you can make it out to the brewery.

Purchased at the brewery for under the $3.00 mark for a single. Served at 7deg C in a draught glass.
A- Opens well and pours a tiny head that is gone in seconds. Super dark black colour. This is by far the darkest porter I have ever seen.
S- Pumpkin and cinnamon galore.
T- Chocolate, cinnamon and pumpkin. Very well blended as nothing sticks out at you but super chocolaty which is nice.
M- A touch watery but porters tend to be this way. No expecting a stout thickness and that is what happens, a touch watery
O- Very nice blend. I don't rate flavored beers all that high especially pumpkin brews but this one has a nice balance and very tasty. Will not buy again though.
Food Pairing
This pretty good brew went well with........ Roast beef! Have some traditional root veggies on the side and you have a nice dinner
Enjoy

It is an ok beer that kinda has a pumpkin pie taste.

On tap at bar hop, ordered mostly because I made a smoked pumpkin porter last fall and wanted to do a comparison to a commercial example. This looked fine, dark brown with decet lacing. Smell had cinnamon and nutmeg spice over a pumpkin pie flavour, mild coffe roastiness. Taste has a crusty grainy maltiness, smooth chocolate, and then brittle pumpkin flavours toward the end. More nuanced pumpkin flavour, this relied a lot on the spices as well as the coffee malt but worked well overall. I think with a fuller body it would be elevated a bit more, this seemed a bit light which overall complimented the pumpkin flavours. I think the integration could have been a bit smoother and maybe a touch more bitter but otherwise this was good.
