Purchased at the brewery for a mighty steep $6.50 for a 473ml can. Served at 6deg C in a draught glass
A- Opens well and pours a tiny 1/4" head that is gone in seconds. Medium gold colour. Filtered clear
S- Belgium malt base along with European style hops. Slight bubblegum scent.
T- Tart at first then those Belgium ingredients come on through. Has an interesting twist of North American hops with it. Nice hybrid. Heat nonexistent so be careful. Funny lemon flavor at the end.
M- Creamy at first but bitters out in a few seconds
O- Likeable brew but the price unfortunately brings this one down a bit. Put it out at a reasonable $4.50 or so and I'm all over it.
Food Pairing
This nice little brew went very well with....... Spicy tuna roll and torpedo roll sushi. This brew kept this meal in great condition!
Enjoy

Can: Poured a cloudy orangey color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of intense hoppy notes with some citrus and resin notes clearly identifiable. Taste is a mix of citrus hops oil with quite a bit of residual sugar notes and some burning alcohol notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation with too much alcohol being apparent. This is an extreme beer for sure but lack of drinkability and too much burning alcohol notes makes this a less than interesting beer.

Cans are fading quickly. But draught in Gravenhurst was a thing of abject beauty...
