On-tap at Volo.
I don't know what yeast they used, but they actually pulled this off! Not surprisingly, it's very similar to their malty 80+/-, but with some added fruityness & cloves.
A: Caramel colour with an off-white head; modest retention, no lacing.
S: Tropical fruits, earth & bread.
T: Earthy flavour (like their 80+/-) is accented by the yeastie by-products: bubble gum & tropical fruit (pineapple, papaya, slight banana), slight spicyness (cloves). Underlying bready maltyness. Balanced bitterness. I can't say I absolutely love it, but I think they've got the style down.
M: Moderate to full body; smooth, modest carbonation.
D: Quite good.
