473 ml can served cold into a St. Pauli girl mug. Purchased from the brewery for $4 per can. Review from notes and consumed and reviewed 3 days after canning.
Appearance - Beer pours hazy witha rich dark golden color. Good head and impressive retention. Sparse lacing as the head recedes.
Smell - Topical with guava and mango leading the way before a healthy dose of pineapple comes in behind. Slightly earthy and dank underbelly with some wheaty malt aspects as well.
Taste - Guava, mango and then banana and bubblegum show with earthy and pithy grapefruit afterwards. Peach might be in there as well. A tropical explosion, but not always the most cohesive flavor.
Mouthfeel - Juicy and medium body, dry finish and appropriate carbonation.
Overall - As this is limited time, if you like tropical IPA's with wheat beer leanings this is probably worth a try especially if it is local. I believe this is brewery only.
