Our Brett IIPA is big, bold and juicy. Heavily hopped, it bursts with notes of bright citrus and pine, followed by a funky backbone and a crisp finish from the Brettanomyces.

500 ml bottle from the brewery served cool into a tasting glass. COst was $7.95 CDN.
Appearance - Virtually clear, bright light golden color with just a trace of haze. A finger and a half of white head coalesces at the peak of the beer and lots of bubbles rise to the top. Very good staying power.
Smell - Quite juicy with pineapple, and guava leading the way with some champagne like elements then transitions to something a little more funky. Very well rounded and complete aromatics.
Taste - Just like the nose, bursting initially with juicy pinepaple, guava and banana and followed up with some powdery yeast, funky elements and some earthiness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with a dry sort of syrupy finish that works great with the flavcors. Carbonation is quite expressive.
Overall - Just one of those beers where everything fits together the way it was intended to. Hard to believe this is 20 proof, drinks as if it's a touch more than half of that. Half American Brett ale, Half DIPA with enough bitterness and lots of juciy and fruity flavors combine to make this one of the best beers I've tried this year. Merry Christmas.
