From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude! This
mighty fine imperial pours a dark brownish black with a very nice head of
khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some very
nice lacing. Nose of char, dark coffee, dark chocolate, raisin, and dark berry
nuances. Flavors hit the mark with dark chocolate (beakers), dark coffee, char,
deep roasted goodness, some toffee, raisin, black and blueberry, and subtle
brulee. Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, lightly warming, medium light
carbonation, and finishing with a bitter malt note that is moderately dry.
Overall, a stellar imperial! No frills, all flavor!
Cheers!

16 ounce can, packaged 18APR24 stamped on the bottom side of the can. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around for a long time. Good amount of lacing, too. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like burnt/charred malt, dark chocolate, coffee, raisins and a bit of blackberry. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark breadiness and molasses flavors noticeable too. It's a little more roasty/bitter tasting than sweet. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit slick with a good amount of soft carbonation. I liked this imperial stout a lot, glad I picked this one up earlier this morning. Certainly worth a try especially if you like regular imperial stouts! $18.99 a 4-pack.
