1/2 gallon growler purchased in Sept 06 direct from Nimbus. Its a summer release.
A - yellow haze, white head, looks good in my Imperial Pint glass from Russian River.
S - smells like faint lemon and citrus blossoms.
T - light, clean, crisp with a hint of citrus.
M - fluffly and light mouthfeel, not over carbonated, but a definate session bear on a hot summer night.
Overall its a wonderful beer, easy to drink and it wont knock you under the table, which makes it a great all night session beer. I will need to make it back to the brewery to get me a refill of my growler before its all gone....

Nice looking wit beer, cloudy pale yellow with a fluffy white head about a finger thick reaching the top of the pint glass. I removed the lemon wedge it came with but it was a nice looking lemon wedge...
Smelled fresh and clean with a crisp orange citrus and clove scent with a good malted wheat background.
Taste followed suit, focusing on the nice malt sweetness with a subtle but present citrus background and just the slightest play of corriander on the tongue. Finish is slight and cleansing without much aftertaste, but it leaves you wanting another drink. Mouthfeel is slighly creamy but light overall.
This is a very solid example of the style and extremely drinkable. Great as a refresher for the last few weeks of summer but also full of enough flavor to be good anytime.

Appearance was perfect. Cloudy, dark lemonade color with a nice strong head. It was just as I expect a wit to look.
Smell was also excellent. Again, exactly what I expect from a good wit. Some clove, banana, and a bit of citrus. Well balanced.
The taste was a let-down, which is really too bad considering the appearance and scent had me anticipating very good things. I was sensing more malt flavors than I normally like in a wit. There was also some more bitterness than I'm not used to in a wit. I like bitter, but not so much in this style. There was also some strange flavor that I could only describe in one way-- like a band-aid. I have no idea where that came from...
The mouthfeel was nice. Light, refreshing, but not too thin. Good level of carbonation.
I only had one. Not because it was a BAD beer, but I've had much better wits, and they had plenty of other stuff on tap to try.

Sampled on tap at Nimbus July 2008
Appropriately cloudy, pale gold color. From the tap it has no real head just a bit of wispy, white froth. Spicy smelling with orange zest and coriander dominating. Flavor has same spiciness and the coriander is nice and clean, without the overly sharp, earthy spice notes that are found in many examples of coriander'd beers. This has a significant tartness to it that when coupled with the very light body makes this an incredibly refreshing brew and the perfect quaffer on this 100ºF / 38ºC day. Quite nice.

The nose of this beer smells of orange and coriander, though neither is overpowering, which is good because I hate when breweries overdo the coriander in a Wit. The beer tastes of coriander and some phenolic / burnt plastic after taste. This is certainly not at its best (I'll have to re-rate when I get a chance). Other than this it is lightly sweet, with a light body and it would be refreshing if not for the phenolics.
