Strong like Bull. Big ABV of 8.8. Double IPA-ish it says on the bottle. Nice Citrus caramel like taste , reasonable mouth feel.
ABV is just a little strong I think for the style and it really battles it out with the underlying flavour. No head, nice colour.

Appearance (Look) = 6%
clear dark orange. not much of a head. yellow head
Smell = 24%
very sweet caramel malt. very little hop
Taste = 40%
wow. tastes almost like unfermented wort. slight bittering at the end.
Mouthfeel (Feel) = 10%
thick.
Overall = 20%
huh. generally I like sweet beer but this isn't quite what I expected. I prefer over sweet to over dry but I think people who care about style would probably slam this. I'd call it a high gravity barley wine. I think I like it. Weirdly I can't find this beer on the website of the brewery.
