A 330ml black waxed bottle, bottled on 28th January 2016, with a best before date of 28th January 2041. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: Black in colour with no head and no lacing.
Aroma: Aroma is quite complex, whisky, dark fruit, brett, dark malt, light roast, chocolate, oak, boozy.
Taste: Light roast, earthy, dark malt, chocolate, whisky, herbal, slightly sour, medicinal.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: I don’t know. The aroma was quite complex but it was on and off. Every time I took a whiff, it changed a bit. But the taste really didn’t work for me. It didn’t really come together. I tried the Bruichladdich (peated) BA after this, and that was enjoyable. The brett just didn’t do anything for me here.

Bottle at Muted Horn, Berlin. Pitch black, powerfull and unpleasant boozy aroma, taste of whiskey, alcohol, nuts. low carbo and creamy to watery body. Bad, unbalanced, almost undrinkable unless you are into spirits. NO

Bottle just say scotch but bruichladdich doesn't shock me here given the flavor. Hopefully this isn't the wrong beer as it just say scotch aged.
This isn't great. The beer has a nice rich body, has nice legs. Looks dark and creamy.
The nose is kinda cardboard dull with some peat notes, maybe chocolate malt, and some roated notes. All of this lost almost like a wet blanket is covering it up.
The dark fruits and chocolates are somewhat sour from the brett but not overly impactful.
The body is creamy and very sippable.
This isn't good beer but it's kinda interesting. Maybe one of those glad to do something new but I don't get it.
Positive is it lingers very well.

33cl bottle. Thick black pour with almost no head. Smells of dark cherries, whiskey and peat. The taste follows the same notes, along with almonds, grapes and wild yeast. Full bodied, flat, with a light sour and bitter-sweet aftertaste.
