Pours a pitch black coloration with a large, creamy, lasting head. Smells intensely of roasted, caramel malt and chocolate fudge, with hints of dark fruit, vanilla, bourbon and earthy oak. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by strong roasted, caramel malt and chocolate fudge, with lighter notes of coffee, licorice and dark fruit: raisin, fig, as well as hints of vanilla, leather, bourbon and earthy oak. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and some chocolate-covered licorice lingering in the aftertaste. Thick, full mouthfeel with a rich body and light/medium carbonation.
An Imperial Stout with a rather distinct roasted/bitter character and strong notes of chocolate fudge and dark fruit as well as lighter barrel notes that could actually be a little more pronounced. Still, this is rather enjoyable for what it is, with a rather nice, full and creamy mouthfeel as well.

De Zombier. En copa Teku. Viendo Umbrella Academy 1x06. Sin para nada estar mal,le falta le sobra presencia alcoholica y le falta madera e integracion del bourbon que tienen las mejores del estilo. Ademas, al fondo del vaso deja grumos que dejan sensacion en boca desagradable

Tons of bourbon in the nose, sweet.
Taste has malt an chocolate, caramelized things. After this kicks some alcoholic acidity and vanilla. Quite bitter.
It has a thick body, quite sticky. It is much more sweet than whats apparent at the beginning.
Not perfect in the balance and integration of its flavors, but it has been long ago since I've witnessed De Molen to release something so good.

Dark brown color with mocha head. Aroma is quite boozy with whiskey and toffee notes, also some dark berries. Taste has dusty wood barrel at first, continues with malt sweetness and finishes with cacao bitterness and some toffee. Quite nice flavors but it's not as well rounded as other De Molen imperial stouts.
