Dark brown color with mocha head. Aroma has lots of bourbon, toffee and fudge with just a light fermented fruit note. Taste has a good amount of roasted malt bitterness but also bourbon and caramel sweetness. A bit acidic, like some arabica coffee varieties, a bit boozy as well. Medium plus body, soft carbonation. Quite dry but apart from that I don't get any brett influence. Overall it's a really good Hel & Verdoemenis variant.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours jet black with little carbonation/head. Nose is coffee, roasted malts, tobacco, and a bit of bourbon. Taste is coffee, chocolate, and some sour cherry. Aftertaste is mocha coffee. Very creamy. Not a ton of Brett on this, but overall an amazing stout in bourbon. Maybe a touch sour with a bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy.
