A beer that I had some hope for, after quite a few past experiences with big Bourbon Barrel Aged stouts, only a few managed to stand out and work as a complete package. I adore Bourbon itself, but when your flavour profile is dominated, no, *demolished* by tannic wood and shallow bourbon flavour, with nothing competing or complementing, you need to rethink your process.
