L- Quite dark amber, slightly cloudy (some sediment left at bottle). Thin patch of foam, which is good going considering the ABV%.
S- Wine-like and also slightly fruity.
T- Wine-like + timber right on the front. Quite tart > dry on the tongue and rather rustic (as a genuine rustic dry scrumpy-cider can be). It honestly does not taste very much like beer at all, IMV.
F- Dry, rustic, rather austere.
O- I've decided (again!) that wine-barrel aged beer just doesn't align the stars for me. The end result seems confused, and as here not even really beer-like at all. And it was something like £6/+, ouch. Not one I'd buy again.

Bottled 17-09-2018. Pours orange, slightly opaque, with dense white foam. Smells vinous, lightly tart, fruity. Bit of sharp carbonation, but that works here. Taste is a nice mix of dry, slightly tart wine, and soft weizen. Refreshing, very woody and winy.
