A – Pours a thick black engine oil colour with a Beige head that laces and stays the distance
S – Massive coconut, coconut and more coconut. Soo damn good
T – Up front some big coconut flavours followed by some mild malts before the coconut comes back and completely dominates.
M – Full body and medium carbonation
O – If you wanted a bounty bar in a beer then this is it. The Noble & Nuts is superior because of it creaminess but if you like coconut stouts then you will not be disappointed in this beer at all

Got this one from the liquor store in Maarssen
From a bottle into a snifter
24.1* Plato
EBC: 280
EBU: 31
ABV: 11.4%
BA creamy coconut imperial stout
APPEARANCE: Clear dark brown pour yields a two finger, medium looking, slightly foamy light tan head with great retention. Bistre brown body with medium levels of carbonation evident. Foamy ead slowly recedes to a half wisp. A slight wisp remains until the end and leaves some solid lacing down the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Definite coconut shavings, vanilla cream, some milk chocolate, oak, as well as some light whisky or rum aromas.
TASTE: Coconut for sure, vanilla, some light whisky flavors and some alcohol at the swallow. A medium but lingering finish with lots of coconut, vanilla cream, some milk chocolate sweetness, oak flavors, as well as some whisky or rum lingering on the palate. Sweet with plenty of dried coconut shavings on this one.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy smooth on the palate, a touch foamy perhaps, goes down smooth and finishes a bit sticky on the palate. A bit of alcohol lingers.
OVERALL: Enjoyable stuff. Very enjoyable, actually. The coconut on this one works really well and the barrel aging adds a nice, boozy kick to the brew. Nothing out-of-the-park here, but certainly an enjoyable stout with enough of creamy coconut to live up to its description, which is an absolute must in my books. Worth checking out again for sure, and perhaps even worth putting in the fridge for a little while before opening. Something I will most likely do if there are any of these left at the shop next time around. Cheers!
