Samples in a restaurant in Leiden, somewhere along de Vliet. Can't remember the name.
A dark copper beer with a small head. A bit of yeast mist in the glass.
Smell is nice citric hoppy layered with a nice caramel maltiness. I think I smell US-05 yeast, but this might be because of the citric hops.
Taste is nicely balanced between the malt and hops. The malt is rich and caramellic with some wood notes. Bitterness is medium with nice citric hoppy notes, that are also a bit grassy and raw. Another great beer from de Molen!
