Beer sampled from tap at the Pre-ZBF fest at Alvinne. The beer poured a deep amber, almost brown body with a decent tan head. The nose had notes of wood, a sour character and also some whiskey or port. The taste was more of the same and very pleasing. Although the main character of the beer was a sour, somewhat fruit character, there is a solid malt backbone, supported by the whiskey and wood notes. This will be available in bottles in the near future.
