Enjoyed from the bottle in a snifter. This AIPA pours a muddled brownish orange with an excellent head of foam that slowly dissipates to a thick layer and ring with great lacing. Nose of caramel malts, lots of orange and grapefruit aromas, bittering hops, and a touch of honey. Flavors follow with citrus and caramel notes on all sides that fades into a bitter hop character and bitter finish. Moderate carbonation and smooth mouth feel. Standard but good.

Had this at the Ealing Beer festival. Tried about 8 American Style Pale Ales from Denmark, Holland etc. This was by far the best!

Aroma of floral hops, peach, caramel, marmalade, lemon. Taste citrus, grapefruit, oranges, pine, caramel malt. Nice!

330 ml bottle poured into a tulip glass. Cloudy orange amber with a truly massive amount of light beige colored head ... Too much, really. It does fall back over time, although a solid five fingers remain. Aroma is more malt than anything, dried fruit (peach, fig) and toasted caramel with a slight citrus or carbolic tang. Unique, this. The hop flavors convey warm, slightly fetid grapefruit, orange, and mandarin, more marmalade than juice or rind, coriander seed and white peppercorn, hints of pear and root beer. Solid graham cracker and caramel malt backbone. Lots of debris floating around, which might be contributing to a vitamin and root cellar-like damp yeastiness. Notably thick body although the assertive carbonation balances this out. Smooth buttery mouth feel and a wonderful dry nutty finish, a little bitter walnut blooming at the end. Although the use of American hops may very well anchor this in the present style designation, this is not a piney or resinous beer and is instead a sweet treat of sorts, with malts and yeast getting center stage while the hops provide a pleasing fruity accent. The slightly rank yeastiness may have skewed my ratings downward.

Man this is the stuff! Poured at a perfect temperature with a massive billowy cream-colored head that settles slowly, with lots of clingy lace and a hazy honey amber color. Aroma is hops Graham mall. Flavor is like aroma just enough sweetness to balance the bitter and the strong carbonic tang. Perfect mall filling body but not over done. Super drinkable beer
