Served on tap at Cafe 't Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Excellent bartender recommended this and said it was dry-hopped with Cascade hops at the brewery, one of the only breweries in Holland to do this.
A - Served in a chalice, orange/amber with a big foamy head that dissipates quickly.
S - PHE-nomenal; up there with Hopslam. Candy, pine cones, soap. Fantastic.
T - Right along with the smell; cascade hoppiness, but extremely well-balanced. Cascades pervade throughout.
M - Lightly carbonated, appropo for style.

Bartender said this is Holland's attempt at an American IPA (despite it being a "Blond") and it is right on. Best beer I've had in Europe. Highly recommended.

This is the regular blond the Molen makes but then with extra hop. They say that they use an extra pound of hops per keg to give it a more dry feeling and a more hoppy taste.

Nice head and a golden fluid.

Poured in a small the Molenglass the beer looks OK. The taste is indeed dry and hoppy with some fruitnotes.

Well done De Molen!!
