Thanks to Joe for sharing this.
A: The beer pours a murky dark brown color with a small off-white/khaki head.
S: A pretty malty beer. Lots of toasted bread, caramel, and toffee with a touch of dark fruit. There's a bit of oak and vanilla character to it as well as a very subtle roast.
T: Decently fruity with notes of red wine, raisins, and plums. The malts make up the bulk of the flavor with toast, toffee, and a little bit of caramel and brown sugar. There as a very mild vanilla note as well as a touch of oak.
M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Fairly smooth on the tongue.
O: Sort of muddled, especially the aroma. Not bad, though.
