On tap at BBF 2011. This is not a Vienna lager, but a bohemian lager.
Look: pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head..
Smell: grass, hops, floral, citrus and hay.
Taste: Taste is similar to the smell. Full of hay, grass and nice floral hops. I like the bitter aftertaste. Some light sweetness perfectly balances out the bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium body, medium carbonation
Overall: this is a perfect example in the style!! Full of fresh hops (shall I send you a sample of fresh hops from our field experiment in Wageningen Thijs, so you can recognize fresh hops next time? ;))

This beer was @ the Borefts festival in Bodegraven, Holland. De Molen was there with some beers which were new to me, this was one of the beers i drank on the festival.

Poured in the De Molen festival tastingglass, a good glass to taste beers, the beer looks very nice. After that the magic spell is gone. They state the beer should be with fresh hop and with a bitter character. I could not detect this qualities in this beer. They used fresh picked East Kent Goldings hop.

Lucky me that they had better beers on the festival....
