Copenhagen 6/12 2024. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. White label with the name of the beer and brewery in black and a big red "&".
Pours almost clear, dark amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable, Settles ax thin, uneven, frothy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and a bit boozy odor mingling with sweet berries. Whiff of sour grains.Toasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Dark licorice. Sweet plums and alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft yet lively tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a touch of bitterness. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Christmassy without overdoing it.
