I ordered this beer on a whim after attending a brewing event here in Munich where this brewery had poured some of their beers. This is not your typical beer - so please don't expect it to be, but if you know anything about Gueuze you should recognize that this beer will be anything but when you see the 9.2% abv.

This beer is flat, practically no carbonation, it's got a great bourbon sour taste and a thick mouthfeel. It has a nice amber brown color, and it's a perfect beer to sip out of a snifter and enjoy with a few friends. If you don't like sour beers, then stay away, you won't like this one!

I have to give this low scores on appearance because it doesn't look like much, the nose isn't overly strong and you can't really appreciate this beer until it's in your mouth. I will be buying more of this beer.

Cloudy amber colour. No head. Not good.

Very big fusel alcohol aroma. Sweet and a touch spicy. Almost nutty. I don't get it.

Sweet and very fusel driven. Some oak. Lacking in the actual Gose flavours that should be here.

Medium body with moderately-low carbonation.

This just isn't that good. There is a touch of tartness but tons of fusel and too much oak.
