Slightly fizzy head on the pour. A really dark amber color, resembling more of a deeper brown ale than a IS. Aroma and taste are both very chocolatey, but no barrel presence. It is four years old though, which could also excuse the thin mouthfeel. Overall, decent, if rather unassuming.

-pours a hazy dark brown with ruby tinges and almost no,beige-coloured head
-very low carbonation visible

To me,this is more a Barleywine than an Imperial Stout.
