Amber with a little haze and a big, milkshakey head that holds on to the surface until the end. Interesting, "dark" hoppy aroma...fruity lime and familiar Citra characteristics overlaid with wood and green pepper and some biscuit malt. Very smooth, easy-going hoppiness in the flavor. The initial mango is quickly overrun with green piney bitterness and that kinda-sorta weird earthy Equinox peppery apple thing that adds a unique dimension, though I'm not the biggest fan. Some sugary tea in the finish. Creamy medium body that's all sorts of dry and snappy. Pretty good, probably a little too much influence from the Equinox and the bitterness is aggressive, but it's another fun entry into the IPA of the Month series.

Pleasant auburn colored beer with a tightly foamy head that has a variety of bubble sizes. Head sticks to the glass... Aroma is rich with fruit: Apple, surprisingly fresh green bell peppers, orange, and pitted fruits. Mildly spicy. Taste is loaded with all of the above with forward bitterness. Aroma and flavor both seem like they've been aged...kind of mellowed out together. Everything is sharp and soft at the same time. Pretty interesting beer. Overall this is an unusual but likable beer.

Perfect for October, nice orange color. Nice hop aroma, not a bad beer, I have bitched about the price all year, but honestly compared to what other breweries or stores are charging this is right on target. $5.99 for a bomber.

Nice Orange Color and head retention.

Smell: Fruity, floral, hop aroma. Nice! This is one of the better ones of the bunch.

Taste: Well balanced and enjoyable IPA's. I really liked this one. Its well made. I am happy we had the opportunity to try these this year and pissed that I have had every one but the March so far. I guess with two months left, I am along for the ride. Just wish I had some symmetry to the whole process, but I have a good idea of what they were trying to do.

Overall: One of the better ones they have made. I really liked this one. Although I am beginning to think they are all the same recipe but a different adjustment per month. Could I be right?

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a hazy copper color; the head is impressive and streaks lacing down the side of the glass

Smell: Biscuity, with lemon and lime

Taste: Biscuit, up front, with lemon/lime citrus tones developing, in the middle; the aftertaste is a bit different, with some green pepper and a hint of apple

Mouthfeel: Medium body and moderate carbonation

Overall: Another different angle from this series; not among my favorites of the series but a good beer, nevertheless
