1 pt 6 fl oz released into an IPA glass. August 2015, no bottled date.
A - Cloudy orange with yellow and ruby highlights. Two finger fluffy head that retains well.
S - Wow. Intense, bitter hops, mango, peach and lemon. Buttery at times.
T - Blood orange, butter, lemon. Hops not as strong as the initial nose, but definitely present. Melons and peach take over after a few swigs. There is some bread/biscuit qualities in the background.
M - Medium low carbonation, medium heft, and, while juicy, finishes dry.
O - The presence of butter was throwing me off at first, but the Simcoe took over and started to meld nicely with the Sorachi hops. Being this tasty at only 5.8% is a plus.

Cloudy deep orange color with a solid head of dense creaminess. Aroma definitely reveals the usage of Sorachi Ace - lemon and dill - but it's joined by a pungent peach and mango quality that seems to work really well. Flavor is continued tropical fruit salad...more orange and grapefruit before the mango and lemon freshness. Finish doesn't leave much lingering hop flavor or sweetness, but a moderate bitterness remains. Medium-light bodied and drying. Nice one...

Very good IPA. Had at the bba sexual chocolate release this last Saturday. Hazy. Very fruity. Medium mouthfeel. Reddish gold in color. Overall pretty tasty. Even saw it in bombers at the store.

I have missed a few of the IPA of the Month beers but have enjoyed all that I have had.Pours into an imperial pint glass a dull orange infused golden with a creamy-like white head atop.Aromas of grapefruit rind and biscuit malts, very juicy.A ripe juicy orange comes to mind flavor-wise with some mango and grassy-herbal notes in the finish,a doughy malt base holds true to the finish.Man this is one juicy/fruity IPA,damn it's good.
