Appearance: Arrives hazy and golden capped by an inch of foam; decent lacing action
Smell: Mint and herbal tones
Taste: The mint just dominates the flavor profile, with a tropical fruit (pineapple) character in the back; not much of a malt base but not overly crisp and clean
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Doesn't have the crispness I associate with a pilsener and the Polaris hops make for a very unusual combination; the mint expression of this particular hop might be great with a darker malt - I kept thinking of a beer that might emulate Mint Chocolate Chip

A slightly hazy pale gold beer with a massive pillowy head that stays around forever. The aroma is a bit odd for a pils. I swear it is like cotton candy with floral hops and grassy, minty undertones. It doesn't smell bad it is just a little odd for the style. The taste is sweet like berries with herbal grasses and a nice finishing bitterness. Really my first experience with a polaris hopped beer so I am not sure what to expect but this is a good beer. I just don't know if I would have pegged it as a pilsner by taste.

Lightly hazy straw color beneath a thick, towering head. Smell is interesting - not like any other Pils I've ever had...murky floral, minty (I guess?) hops and some dough in the finish. Flavor exhibits similar hop characteristics, but is more in line with a German Pils. Sweet flowery hops, herbal spice, some biscuit malt at the base. Medium-light, appropriately carbonated, and easily drinkable. I just don't think I like Polaris all that much.
