Brought a growler of this one home to try so figured I should better put in the review on it. Poured a nice light amber with a smallish white frothy head. Decent carbonation remained throughout and had an overall light look to it. Smell was of lots of grain and a musty sort of bread like malt. Not so big on the taste, kinda musty and old tasting, decent feel, albeit a little light, but I am used to bigger scotch ales. Overall it was not bad, and certainly sessionable, but there are better out there and I really did not need a growler of this one.

First beer tried today at Foothills, poured a deep amber with a thin off white head, big malty aromas of mollasis and brown sugar with some maple notes as well.Flavors start out on the sweeter side that molassis is very prevalant along with some brown sugar but a very dry earthiness really sets in late almost parching in nature.Well made and raw I liked this beer but I think it needs some tweaking but Iam glad to see them try the style
Note:The bartender only gave me the name of the style Iam not sure if they gave it a "sir" name maybe a fellow BA can get the true name of this beer if it is something other than Scottish ale.
