My second visit to Foothills and a new summer seasonal, this pours a nice rich copper color with a nice tight one finger head leaving a nice ring of lace behind.Aromas are quite malty for an IPA toasted grain and some orange with hint of gras behind but not very strong, this ale is well balanced a big toasty malty backbone with a touch of fruity sweetness with the resiny, piney hop coming thru quite late. Not a heavily hopped IPA by any means with the malty light sweetness kinda stealing the show but a well crafted brew none the less.
