Foothills must have re-released this as here it is March and I'm enjoying it from a growler picked up at the Crabtree Beer Garden in Raleigh! Glad too, as this is one amazing beer! Very true to the "west-coast DIPA" style! Hope this becomes a permanent part of their rotation!!

Poured from a bomber into a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly hazed, golden-copper coloring, with a foamy, bubbly, off-white head. Aromas of bitter dried grass, guava, grapefruit, pineapple, pine pitch, and subtle pepper spice. Very aromatic! Flavors are juicy and bold forward, heavy on the guava, pineapple, grapefruit, and melon. Wow, this is a juice bomb! Balance is brought with subtle grassy and mossy hops characteristics throughout, but the lean remains in favor of the fruity notes. Slick and bold in mouth, with a tropical fruit punch aftertaste. The finish is slick, smooth, and juicy, with a solid tropical linger. Solid DIPA!
