First had: on tap at Foothills
Clear mahogany pour, with a small beige head that sank to a ringlet, leaving a few spots of lacing on the glass. Caramel malts in the nose, fairly roasty, light earthy and citrus hop aromas. This followed through in the taste, caramel malts, brown sugar, nutty, with notes of earthy, citrus, herbal hops, leaving a dry bitterness in the finish; pretty average brown ale with a slightly upped hop profile. Light-medium body, fairly crisp and somewhat drinkable, though lacking in the flavor department.
