This beer is packed with piney Chinook and citrusy Citra hops. But, like all beer, it’s roughly 95% water. Which makes our passion for clean water understandable. In a world increasingly fraught with environmental hazards, the aggressive protection of our natural water resources is paramount. Which is why #crafthappiness is proud to support those who pursue clean water efforts with zeal and commitment. Because here, water is our life – in more ways than one.

Highly carbonated with a kick of hoppy goodness. The smell is thick of hops as is the taste. The after taste or followup fades slowly, which in my opinion is great.

"Clean" is the name of the game for the Foothills team as they embark upon a sustainable awareness campaign through the taste of beer. This beer may be all about the hops, but its mostly about the water.
Clean IPA pours a bright golden and light amber color while building a light and frothy white head. A hoppy bouquet awaits as the hops of Citra and Chinook deliver waves of citrus, pine, herb and grassy aromas to the nose. Caramel and honey decorate the front of the tongue as the light toast and nutty character of malt carries sweet granola impressions.
As the hops unfold on the middle palate, the sweetness begins to fade. Hop radiance of ripe orange, red grapefruit and a kiss of lemon trends fruity and citrusy with a candied taste because of the softly lingering malt sweetness. Its crisp taste trends smoothly and lightly resinous with hop bitterness. Fresh pine shavings, grass clippings and a spicy bitterness registers deep on the palate and carries through to a long and sprucy aftertaste.
Medium bodied but living up to its name, the beer's clean taste leads to an equally clean texture with a dry nuttiness and an acute spiced bitterness in tow. In fact, the beer is so clean it seems to be stripped of much of its malt and hop complexities in favor of a highly drinkable, incredibly refreshing ease of drinking.
