Pours a clear amber color with full head. Scent is of malts, caramel and grass. Taste follows the scent, with something slightly off. Light mouthfeel and an aftertaste that ends with some bitterness

Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass. A thin off white head drops quickly with just a hint of lacing. Color is mostly clear amber. Rich aroma of toasted malts and fruit/floral. Mouthfeel between light and medium with a long, drying finish. Flavor combines caramel sweetness, toasted bread, plums, cherry, molasses, some grass and pine notes. Overall: quite good.

Look: It pours dark amber with a tan head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: It has caramel aromas to start. It has some herbal notes in the background and a very low cherry quality.
Taste: It has strong caramel and cherry flavors with the herbal quality still in support.
Feel: It has a medium body with a bit of a moderate high bitterness in the aftertaste.
Overall, it has a high cherry flavor that does work with the caramel.

12 oz. bottle from beer club poured into Aslin teku glass.
L: Big foamy off-white head with lots of lacing and good retention with a cap and ring. Beer is a deep cordovan/amber. Very attractive.
S: Some caramel and other malts. Earthy and woodsy. It's OK.
T: Tastes pretty watered-down. Caramel malts and an earthy, mineral quality. Finish is neutral.
F: Light-bodied, moderate carbonation. At least it drinks well and is balanced nicely.
O: Just not nearly enough taste to it.

It's kind of blah. It just lies on the mattress while you do all the work. I can taste alcohol, mineral water and nondescript sweetness. She looks great but as about as exciting as a lukewarm bath. Not bad just boring.
