Pours a pure gold with little head and no lacing. The aging has taken most of the nose out of this beer, with only a faint hint of sweetness coming off the top.
Very smooth, creamy, slightly syrupy taste. Slight sour apple finish with some residual candy sugar.
The aging has mellowed the beer very well. Not much of this available, so get it while you can!
