A very interesting take on a belgian tripel, and when I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to get it.
Served in a "large" goblet ( read: brandy glass, filled all the way up), I was greated by a nice floral note, with some slight citrus. The head was very small, and it had the look of an unfiltered, uncarbonated wheat style beer.
Mouthfeel was light, and the beer was quite potent, which was disguised from the palate due to the heavy citrus and floral flavors.
On the negative side, I would say that it was a little undrinkable after a half glass, the flavors just didn't blend too well, but it was amazing to have coming out of a local brewery in Flagstaff.
And as a note for reviews, the beer is not Retired, it is merely a special occasion beer.

Visited Flagstaff recently and came across this brew which was created as a limited edition. Per our server and the menu, Beaver Street was serving only 2 per customer due to the high ABV. I managed to sample 3 pints but I understand now why the limit!
This beer came out fairly flat, was unfiltered, and shaded a golden orange. Nose was strongly of fermented fruit. The taste was very good as the high ABV was disguised very well. Mouthfeel was smooth but a bit thin. Overall drinkability was good but too much of a good thing is not a good thing! A very nice job by the folks at Beaver Street!
