The bartender said this was a "hoppy, strong amber ale". I'm not sure it fits nicely into any style category, but whatever it is, I'm a fan. Pours a reddish amber color topped by a khaki-colored creamy head. Aroma of nice, fresh floral hops tempered by some sweet malt. Palate is more floral hops, balanced by caramel malt that provides a nice biscuity character. Body is rich and full, but not too heavy. Glad I asked about this one, it's a winner.
